Bankruptcy-Vendor Liaison - $37k to $54k
Job Description
- Review exception reports related to Key Performance Indicators to improve bankruptcy timeline performance.
- Work through bankruptcy delays with the designated Vendor to circumvent increases in Aged Inventory.
- Handle investor inquiries and contacts as required pertaining to bankruptcy issues. May serve as the representative from the Bankruptcy Department to discuss and explain the Bankruptcy operations.
- Act as an investor liaison. Coordinate and review investor audit packages. Identify attorney performance issues and conduct onsite vendor audit reviews as frequently as needed.
- Oversee and monitor any onsite vendor staff. Participate in quarterly review of attorney performance by proposing recommendations to Management for process improvements conducive to improving overall timeline performance including but not limited to reallocation of loans with non-performing attorneys.
- Arrange weekly meetings with Vendor Management Team to discuss issues and or trends.
- Provide management with monthly performance summary report.
- Review and approve vendor requests for additional fees that are not handled by the Bankruptcy Specialists.
Required Experience:
- Two or more years experience in a bankruptcy environment required.
- Work experience in Mortgage Banking preferred.
This Job Requires the Following Skills:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Must be able to create reports using Access
Education Required:
Some college required; Degree a plus
Location: Galleria Area
