Orientation

shutterstock_6129037A well orchestrated first day sets the tone for the entire assignment and the relationship with the client. Our goal for orientation is to get the consultant up and running at the client site as quickly as possible. We have designed an orientation process that ensures every consultant is on boarded to the client’s expectations every time.

Prior to starting the assignment, our recruiters work with each client to gather specific policies and procedures for the consultant. This includes information about the client and the work site including dress code, work hours, holidays, etc.

Our recruiters meet with the consultant and discusses as much as possible prior to the first day of the assignment. This allows the consultant to begin working as quickly as possible.

On the first day, a Donovan & Watkins representative and the client will have a joint meeting with the consultant. The consultant will be required to sign the appropriate documentation such as the confidentiality agreement. Our Account Manager performs first day checks and follows-up with the client and the consultant in two weeks, 60 days, 90 days, and 120 days.

Our defined orientation process helps improve consultant retention, saves money for clients by reducing turnover rates, and increases overall client and consultant job satisfaction.
