Background Checks
Our hiring process includes three types of candidate interviews: telephone screening, personal interview, and technical interview. The process includes several steps, summarized below:
Telephone Screening – Our trained and experienced recruiters analyze applicant resumes for specific skills and experience. Recruiters conduct initial phone screenings to determine if the applicant is available, interested in the assignment, qualified technically, and has the appropriate soft skills. If determined to be qualified, the applicant’s references will be checked.
References – Candidates must provide a minimum of two business references. Recruiters skilled in analyzing reference information over the telephone contact each of these references. Our reference checks cover the candidate’s prior performance. Our team views the reference process as more than a validation of technical skills.
Personal Interview – During a face-to-face interview, we share general aspects of the potential work with the applicant. After our recruiter identifies the various skills an applicant possesses (which must be in levels appropriate and sufficient to perform well on assignment), we then thoroughly interview each applicant to evaluate needs, likes/dislikes, and personalities. We look for an interest in this type of work and for the proven capability to perform the requested skills. The information we obtain from testing and interviews allows us to successfully match the employees to the client’s needs and corporate culture.
Skills Analysis – We use eSkill to evaluate candidates’ technical skills. Our screening techniques are designed to provide objective evaluations of candidates’ technical abilities.
Background Checks – Our pre-employment screening can include drug screening, criminal and credit checks, and fingerprinting. We use third-party companies to perform background checks. County, city, and state repository records are checked by private investigators for any felony and misdemeanor convictions (other than minor traffic violations) and for guilty and nolo contendere pleas.
